Commissions: Policy
Subject Matter/Contract Agreement
As the artist, I reserve the right to refuse any commission request at my discretion. Below are examples of some subjects I refuse to work on:

Overtly political ideology

Prejudiced subject matter

Payment
I accept payment through PayPal after the planning/sketching phase of your commission. Once a design/composition has been settled upon by both client and artist, you will be sent a PayPal invoice with the amount due, to be paid in full or in partial payments within a 10-day deadline. After payment is fulfilled, I will begin the commission. Should you have a limited budget, I am willing to extend a partial payment plan up to 1-2 months.
Pricing
Pricing is subject to change depending on the amount of work required to fulfill your request. While a flat fee is established, there may be additional fees due to complexity of the subject. Should you have a specific budget to adhere to, I may willing to negotiate a lower fee, but it is not guaranteed.
If I adjust my pricing rates AFTER your commission is requested, your payment will not change.
If they are raised BEFORE your commission is requested, you will not receive the previous rates.
Deadlines and Time-Frames
Illustration work is not my main job, and I am unable to dedicate extensive time to commission work. Unless you have a specific deadline to adhere to, I will not have a deadline. You must state your deadline before the sketching phase begins. Should your deadline prove too little time to complete the amount of work requested, I reserve the right to refuse the commission, or to raise the price.
Below are estimated time-frames for turnaround time*:
1. Small commissions (profile icons, single chibi illustrations, sketches, emotes) may take up to 2 weeks.
2. Mid-scale commissions (portraits, single full illustrations, character reference sheets) may take up to 1 month.
3. Larger-scale commissions (illustration sets, graphic design projects, paintings, full-detail illustration spreads) may take up to 3 months.
I do not charge an hourly rate.
*As these are ESTIMATED time-frames, there is no guarantee that the work will be completed during this amount of time (except for established deadlines). I may finish earlier or later than expected. This is not a valid reason to request a refund.
Work Process
1. I will receive your request with reference images/descriptions. I will send multiple sketches, from which you will select the most appropriate/desired.

2. Invoice will be sent. Once payment is fulfilled/agreed upon, I will begin work.

3. Several updates will be sent, depending on the scale of the commission.

4. I will send the finished illustrations via Google Drive.
Edits and Revisions
If you request an edit or revision in composition/subject matter/etc. during the planning/sketching phase (pre-payment), your requests may be subject to an additional fee should the revision result in a larger commission.
Should you request a revision after planning/sketching phase (post-payment), there will be an additional fee charged depending on the severity of the request.
I reserve the right to refuse and/or cancel should the revision request conflict with subject matter/established deadlines.
Refunds and Cancellations
Once work has begun, you are not guaranteed to receive a full refund should you decide to cancel. Below are possible scenarios and what will be refunded to you:
1. Should both parties have established a deadline and I am unable to complete the work on the deadline, you will receive 1) a partial refund up to 30% and 2) completed work.
2. Should you decide to cancel while I am still working on your commission, you will receive 1) a partial refund of 50% and 2) no work done.

3. Should I have finished your commission and you cancel, you will receive 1) NO refund and 2) no work done.

4. Should I decide to cancel, you will receive 1) a FULL refund and 2) no work done.
Delivery
Digital: I will send the finished works via Google Drive in PNG and PDF formats (RGB, 300dpi). If you plan on printing for personal use and do not have the ability to convert to CMYK, please inform me and I will accommodate your request and send an additional JPEG or PDF.
Traditional: I will send a scanned version via Google Drive in PNG and PDF formats (RGB Colour, 300dpi). I will also ship the finished work directly to you (shipping fee required).
Copyright, Licensing and Ownership
Commission work is to be used for personal purposes ONLY, unless mutually agreed upon in written contract. For commercial use, please contact me directly.
I reserve the right to publicly show commission work on my portfolio and/or social media platforms. Should you require your work be privatised, an additional fee may be charged depending on the commission.
By default, I own all of my work. Should you request copyright/ownership to your commission, additional fees may be charged.
